Summary0001872: Is mtu set correctly?
DescriptionI have a bond with the mtu set to 9000. It shows 9000 on the network - interface settings page. On the dashboard it shows 1500.

I see mtu=9000 in /etc/network/interfaces. So I assume it is working as it should. But why is bond0 in there twice? I did not edit it only used gui. I did add the 3rd nick eth0 to an already existing eth1 and eth2 bond. l0 gets duplicated also?

Problem 1:
>I have a bond with the mtu set to 9000. It shows 9000 on the network - interface settings page. On the dashboard it shows 1500.

The dashboard shows the REAL values, the 'Network | Interfaces' page shows the CONFIGURED values. If the dashboard shows 1500, then your NIC does not support jumbo frames.

Problem 2:
>But why is bond0 in there twice?

Can't reproduce this issue. Do you have installed any plugins or custom scripts?

Problem 2 may have been a brain fart. I can't duplicate it either.

Both nic types support jumbo frames but they may not work together for some reason. Will test more next year.

Thanks
