Summary0001803: fstab device identifiers
DescriptionI am requesting a feature in OMV that would allow the user to choose they style of disk identifier OMV writes to /etc/fstab.

OMV 2.x used UUID

OMV 3.x is using /dev/disk/by-label

I would like to use /dev/disk/by-id

The reason I would like to use by-id is that it is unique and directly related to the hardware whereas by-label is not unique and not related to the hardware.

If a label is unique, then the corresponding device file is also unique. A workaround is to do not use labels.
