Summary0001768: Avoid default Scheme for naming network devices in Stretch and change policy to udev (Behave like Debian 8)
DescriptionDebian 9 behaves differently considering the naming scheme of network devices, to avoid issues with interchanging network devices from one port to another, an issue that should barely ever happen on an OpenMediaVault System.

Devices could now be named eno1, ens1, enp2s0, enx78e7d1ea46da or whatnotelse... instead of the usual eth0.

If a system is upgraded to Debian 9, it will keep the default eth0 behaviour. On a fresh install however it will use the new behaviour by default.
Steps To ReproduceSee additional Information on how to change behaviour.
